Maartje Boender

Maartje has degrees in civil law and criminal law from Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

Maartje was sworn in as a lawyer in 2008 and has since focused on liability law and insurance law, in addition to gaining extensive litigation experience. Maartje joined V&A Lawyers in July 2018, where she specialises in professional liability. She provides her legal services to lawyers, notaries, agents and real estate brokers, among others,  in civil-law and disciplinary matters. In addition, Maartje enjoys working on cases involving tangible harm, policy disputes and recourse matters.

In 2014, Maartje completed the Grotius specialist course 'Enterprise and Liability'. She is a member of the Association of Insurance for Science and she writes annotations for various legal journals, such as Rechtspraak Aansprakelijkheid & Verzekering (Liability & Insurance Case Law) and Tijdschrift  voor Tuchtrecht (Journal of Disciplinary Law).
