Tessa Havekes

Lawyer

Tessa was admitted to the bar in 2011 and has since focused on insurance and liability law. Before starting her career as a lawyer, she worked for several years as a legal assistant at a legal expenses insurer.

Tessa’s work includes advising and litigating in the areas of personal injury, liability law (in particular traffic and employer’s liability), and insurance law (such as coverage disputes and recourse claims). In addition, Tessa specializes in fraud cases.

In June 2024, Tessa graduated cum laude from the Grotius specialization course in Personal Injury.

In October 2024, Tessa joined V&A Advocaten. Prior to that, she had already worked for 13 years as a lawyer in the insurance practice.

Tessa is a member of the Dutch Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (LSA).
